Moving On

No, it's not easy to move on from someone you fell for.
Especially when you fell so hard.
I've been there, I promise.
Several times actually.

I've been in a state where it broke my heart every time I saw him with some other people,
being as happy as he could.
Not because I don't like seeing him be happy.
It's just I know what it felt like to be the reason of his happiness.
And it felt wonderful.
But then I can't feel that anymore.
No matter what I'd do.

One time, it took me a long time to forget that feeling and not wanting to feel it anymore.
Another time, I just woke up one day and I stopped remembering and I stopped caring.

Life just works in mysterious ways.
